Custom Table Pads
Stella we still remember you! by Cynthia Teibele St. John, IN

I still remember, as a new bride in 1954, having dinner around my mother-in-law's dining room table. She was the only one I knew at the time who had table pads under her lace tablecloth. A recent article in our newspaper about your company brought back fond memories of my mother-in-law, Stella, and the sumptuous meals she served her husband, four adult children and their spouses. I don't know how she did it. They were like feasts every Sunday; two kinds of meats, veggies, salads, and her homemade pies. Everything on the table precisely timed to be hot when we sat down. I can still visualize that table and those meals. She was my idol when it came to cooking and I am still trying to live up to her standards. Although she has passed on, her dedication to her family lives on. She was the one who taught me how to prepare my dining room table. She always talked about tablepads being such an important part of her family meals.
