One of the best things about Thanksgiving is the togetherness it brings. As the cold air accents the sweet smell of fallen colored leaves outdoors, our family, friends and loved ones gather cozily together, creating a glowing warmth that all look forward to through out the year. I've always loved the way Thanksgiving appeals to the senses. The burnt orange and red hues of table decor, the thick smell of delicious basted turkey, the sounds of stories and tales and laughter, the taste of smooth cinnamon apple pie, the touch of warm sweaters and wigwam socks. The senses of Thanksgiving are what create the moments and memories that we hold so dear, the building blocks of the togetherness we share.

As the Thanksgiving host of my family, I am always looking for ways to accent and enhance the senses to evoke that Thanksgiving charm that my guests and I look forward to.
